About Oracle

     It was many moons ago when a disagreement within a clan had sent everyone homeless. For three days afterwards, six of the leading members of the former clan sat around in Rune in the various scenic places and talked of what they were going to do. During these three days, they kept fairly close together, usually separated only for a quest from Lord Agrippa to help protect the surrounding lands.

     It was during the second night or so that the idea of forming their own clan had been brought up. First by one person, then echoed by the entire group. They had chosen Chryys to start this new clan, but she was resistant to the idea, at first. Upon the dawning of the third day of being without a clan, the idea finally came together through divine intervention. For the remainder of the day, the six people formed and thought of names for the new clan they planned on creating. It was finally agreed upon that Oracle would be the name. They would be the wisdom, knowledge and a medium for the Powers upon Alyria.

     For three straight days, the new members of Oracle scrambled and fought their way through the depths of the Proving Grounds and attained their sought after place in Alyria as a true and thriving clan. With the help of Whisper and its owner, Vswan, Oracle soon found that they had a new clanhall. The Powers that watched over them carefully selected a spot set deep in the mountains for the newly made clan to hold as its own. The clanhall was magically cut into the mountain, enhancing the majesticness of the mighty giants.

     Oracle has grown and prospered in neutrality and peace for many years now, despite many people trying to dissuade and push them into one side or another. They were created upon peace, and shall remain so, until they are provoked to fight back. Despite common criticism, which the clan takes as envy, Oracle has won respect, most often times given grudgingly, from their other peers. The clan will continue to grow and prosper ever more into the future, continuing to be the silent warriors and wise scholars upon Alyria.
